i think the most user-friendly way to approach the creation of a web site is to offer several different formats, each designed with a particular class of browser in mind. (text only, graphics, frames, and on up.) this way, you offer viewers the best form with as many functions their browser can afford them. use of the <noframes> tag, programs that send the user to a location based upon the browser they are using, and even subtly placed buttons that offer different viewing options from the default are imo far more preferable than simply limiting the audience to those who posess a particular browser. -anders
